Attract China Hires Big Data Analytics Expert as Chief Customer Insight Officer

As the Chief Customer Insight Officer (CCIO), Lin will implement strategic data-driven initiatives, supporting Attract China’s mission to be the leading gateway to the independent Chinese traveler.

“Nathaniel is a recognized leader in marketing and business analytics,” said Evan Saunders, CEO and co-founder of Attract China.  “His more than 20 years of experience in employing actionable advanced analytics strategies and Big Data technologies will add tremendous value to our company as we continue to help our U.S.- based clients better understand the consumer profiles of the Chinese visitors they are marketing to.”

Prior to joining Attract China, Lin held leadership positions with IBM as a senior manager of analytics before being promoted to program director, business innovation analytics; OgilvyOne as partner, director of analytics; Fidelity Investments as vice president of customer analysis; Aspen Marketing Services as president, advanced analytics and with Engage Your Customers (EYC) as vice president of analytics.

Lin also has extensive experience mentoring and teaching advanced graduate students. He is the current executive in residence and adjunct professor at Bentley University and former adjunct professor at Georgia Tech College of Management and Boston College Carroll School of Management.

He holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MBA in Management of Technology from the Sloan Fellows program of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
