I was delighted to be a presenter representing Attract China at the third annual BOUTIQUE & LIFESTYLE LODGING ASSOCIATION conference held September 17-19, 2014 in Las Vegas.

The mission of the BLLA is to “raise awareness of independent boutique and lifestyle properties and small brands globally”. The conference is all about bringing people together to connect with others who are passionate, creative and live each day to create a better world for the travelling public.

BLLA_FriSept19_IMG_6070I was honored to be in the company of some noteworthy attendees and presenters throughout this two day symposium. Among the many dignitaries standing at the podium included: Arash Azarbarzin, Presidnet of the SBE Hotel Group; Sam Bakhshandehpour, President of SBE Entertainment and SLS Hotels – ( the newly renovated SLS Las Vegas was our host hotel for the event); Edie Rodriguez, President of Crystal Cruises and Eileen Moore, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, Inc.

Many of the demonstrations were set up as panel discussions and workshops that were comfortable, casual and very engaging with audience participation. The topics discussed included Customer Facing Technologies, Global Influences for Health and Wellness, Lifestyle Innovators, and Ultra Luxury Designers.

I was the Key Note Speaker concluding the two day event. Attract China’s presentation entitled: Coming to America: Chinese Tourists provided an interesting and unique topic. The content principally focused on the colossal explosion of Chinese travelers to North America and showcased the enormous opportunity American hotels have in engaging and hosting these Chinese guests. Attract China’s 20 minute slide show was chock full of valuable  tips and resources to help educate and assist American businesses how best to be “China Ready”.
