Mandarin Map of Los Angeles Coming Soon!

June 24, 2015

Following the success of the Attract China Souvenir-Styled Mandarin Map in Boston, Seattle and Chicago, we will be launching a Los Angeles version this winter.

With an increase in direct flights and easier visa conditions, the number of Chinese visitors to the U.S. is expected to more than double to about 5 million per year by 2019.

To help Chinese travelers overcome the language barrier and facilitate their travel to the U.S., Attract China has created Mandarin maps of major U.S. cities, the first of its kind. Initially launching in Boston, over the past year, we have expanded our maps to Seattle and Chicago. Our Mandarin map is a high-quality souvenir styled map, produced by our on the ground team in Beijing, free for Chinese travelers. First released in April 2014, our Boston map attracted immediate attention from both Chinese travelers and local businesses, and was featured in major media outlets, such as The Boston Globe and China Daily.

Inspired by the positive feedback, our team is now stepping up efforts to develop our next map — the Mandarin Map of Los Angeles, which will highlight the Downtown area, Regional areas to include Orange County, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Marina Del Ray. The red cover of the map will retain the high quality, colorful design, and easy-to-use format of our previous maps, and will feature only 45 Los Angeles advertisers to help Chinese visitors experience the best that the city has to offer.

“Los Angeles’ No. 1 overseas tourism market is China, and welcomed a record 570,000 Chinese visitors in 2013, a 21% increase over 2012.”
